5 Great tips for having a fresh start in the new year!

New year special on Fashion Scissors!

After a crazy year of traveling, working, and creating constantly, I always enjoy stopping for one second before the new year and creating my own little fresh start. This post is a little different than usual, but I believe it is most important to work on yourself sometimes as well as on your fashion Because in the end of the story, you give life to the clothes you wear, no matter who designed them.

Write 10 Goals for the new year

Starting a new year is a great time to write down what you want to achieve. My image consulting teacher, Karen, once said to me "If you do not know what you want, how will you get there?" and it's true, in order to progress in life you need to know what you want rather if it is find love or have a successful career.

Find a reason to Wake up early in the morning

This sentence may sound weird, but it is true. when you keep busy and love your life you would want to wake up early and just live! If you do not think that is the case for you right now, I truly recommend you change something in your life. The world outside will not change so quickly to please you. For example, the famous speaker Jim Ron once said, "The taxes will not go down and winter will not stop coming so you are the one that needs to change".

Work out

Get up from your chair, move, go for a run, go to the gym. It is so important to just stay healthy and feel good. Physical activity is also helpful for your motivation and discipline in your life, i is the drive to keep going and fulfill your goals.

Organize your closet

I believe that an organized life starts with an organized closet. Give away what you do not need and make some space for new clothes. It is so much nicer to wake up and know what you want to wear.

find a new hobby

It is always nice to have an activity you do just for your own joy and not as an obligation to make a living out of it. Furthermore, it is a great way to meet new people.

I hope my tips were helpful and wishing all my great readers a creative, happy and healthy New Year full of achievements.

Have fun,

Talia
